So the first time you say it for real isn't the first time.
GigaLearner helps native English speakers learn the language they'll actually use. Instead of drilling vocabulary in a vacuum, you rehearse the real situations waiting for you — the café order, the train platform, the meeting with the in-laws — out loud, before they happen.
Practical, situation-based learning. Real phrases, real pronunciation, on demand.
Why we built it.
Most language apps are great at keeping you busy and not so great at getting you ready. You learn the word for "elephant" long before you learn how to ask "how much is this?", and when a real conversation finally arrives, it moves too fast and goes somewhere the lessons never did.
We wanted the opposite: an app that starts with your next situation and works backwards to the words. Type what's coming up, and GigaLearner writes a short lesson for it — spoken naturally, spelled out clearly, and ready to replay at half-asleep-on-the-train speed.

What we believe.
Useful beats impressive
"Can you go a bit cheaper?" will save your day more often than the subjunctive. We teach what you'll say first.
Speak from day one
Pronunciation guides for every new script mean you can open your mouth long before you can read a menu.
Your time, your money
Lessons as short as 20 seconds, and you always see the minutes you've got left. No guilt trips, no streak anxiety.
Your stuff stays yours
Your scenarios and saved words are yours. We don't sell them. Not to advertisers, not to anyone. Read our privacy policy →
